Quick Start, but a Disapointing End

As Justin Martin and the Martin Motorsports crew would make their first apperance this past weekend with the non-wing Michigan Traditional Sprints series. At the start of the heat the XXX race co 7m would start in the 4th position but wouldnt stay there long. Coming out of the first corner Justin had already moved into the 2nd position and was catching the leader. By lap 4 Justin had made his pass on the high side and never looked back, getting Justin his first checker flag of the 2010 campaign. In the feature Justin would start on the pole for the 25 lap event. The 7m would settle into 2nd for the first couple laps before catching leader Steve Irwin, before Justin could make the past he would wash the car off the end of turn 1 and 2 and relegate himself back to 6th place. The rockys harley davidson 360 sprint would catch the leaders but once again wash the sprint off the high side of the track and relegate himself even further back into the field. While two cars ended up fliping with 13 laps to go, Justin would end up pulling of the track due to engine problems and overheating and would finsih a disapointing 15th place. Solid night with Sod

After the Northern Summer Nationals the 360 sprint of Martin Motorsports traveled to there home track, at South Buxton Raceway to take on the Sprints on dirt. Justin would start his heat in the 4th position, and battle with Kyle Patrick and Darren Long but would have to settle for 3rd place. In the redraw a lucky fan would draw Justin and the 7m Rockys harley-davidson sprint the outside pole for the A-main. Once the green flag dropped the green 7m would settle in for second for the first 10 laps of the race. Justin would fall back to third, as the top three of Greg Dalman, Dustin Daggett and Justin Martin would break away from the rest of the field in the 25 lap event. As the checker would drop Justin and is XXX race co, Engine Research 360 sprint would have to settle for a 3rd place finish on the night. New car makes Northern Summer Nationals

After Martin Motorsports took a week off, they were building a new car after flipping and destroying their main car the previous week. They rolled off the new 7m Rockys Harley Davidson 360 sprint and she was quick right out of the gate. Justin would start his heat in 2nd place and battle back and forth with Dustin Daggett and Darren Long, Justin would end up grabing the 2nd place which would out him in the 1st qualifier of the night. The 7m sprint would start in the 6th position but in the 10 lap qualifier was able to jump up to 5th and grab an A main starting spot. The new XXX race co chassis with the Engine Research 360 under the hood would start 17 in the A. Throughout the whole night Justin was back and for but would settle for 19th spot. Justin Martin and the sprint team decided to try there luck again at the Big "O" on the 28. Once again Justin didnt draw a great starting position starting him in 5th place in his heat race. Justin powered up the Engine research 360 and was able to motor to 4th place and recieve the final re-draw position. In the feature Justin would redraw 11 as a starting position for the xXx sprint car. Once the green dropped Justin was on the move in the 7m Rocky's Harley Davidson Sprint. By the time the checkered flags dropped Kyle Moffit took the win, but Justin found himself sporting another strong top ten finsih finsihing 8th in the A'main. Top Ten to Start Season

After a very lenghty off season the 7m sprint anlong with Justin and the whole team were looking forward to hitting the track for opening night at the Big "O". With the draw at the opening of the night Justin would put is 7m Rocky's Harley-Davidson starting 5th in the heat. Justin wasnt able to advance his xXx sprint any further then 5th but would grab the final transfer spot starting him 14 in the A Main. The 7m sprint would patiently work his way through the caution filled event, as Justin would be able to put the Rocky's Harley Davidson/ XXX race co sprint into the top ten and with a strong 8th place showing on opening night. International Travel Show

Come out this Saturday and Sunday to the International Travel Show, where the Rocky's Harley Davidson 7m Car will be on display with Justin there to meet and greet with fans. Martin Motorsports looks forward to seeing everyone at the show.

Up and down weekend at CSCN

Martin Motorsports took both cars, XXX race co 7m with Justin Martin, and the 01m of Jason Martin to the Canadian Sprint car Nationals at Ohsweken speedway. Justin would participate in the special shootout friday night prior to the Feature. This event took all the top competitors in each division. Justin would start 10th in the event and move up to 7th until the final laps, where Justin would misjudge the 4th turn and jump the cushon sending him to the rear where he would end up finsihing 14th. The 7m Rocky's Harley Davidson car would also take part in the Memorial one on one race. Justin looked like he was going to take round one but on the final corner Brett Mann drove around Justin, and eliminate the 7m in round #1. On Saturday both Cars would quailify for the the event, with Justin setting 43rd quickest time. Neither cars would advance past there heats sending them to the B mains. Justin would come from 11th place but could only get to 4th when the Checkered flag drop with Jason finsihing 12th. The 7m would recieve one last shot to make the big event in the little feature. He would start the little feature in 13th but coming through the field quick, jumping into the top ten after one lap but only 3 laps into the event, Justins XXX race co sprint would lose power and be forced to retire from the event, sidelining him from the A main. 2009 Southern Ontario Sprint Champion

Justin Martin and Martin Motorsports were riding high on the momentum from saturday night and were hoping to carry it into Sunday. At the draw for the start of the event the 7m crew would draw a forth starting spot for the 1st heat, but found trouble and couldnt advance forward, forcing Justin in the driver websites, Rocky's Harley Davidson 360 sprint to start 10th. The Engine reasearch 360 sprint would quickly jump up to eighth when he passed both of his competitors the were fighting with him for the title. Justin would battle all night long with the competition and would manage to pull off an 8th place finish, which secured the Southern Ontario Sprint Championship for the Martin Motorsports 7m sprint. The Team would like to thank Rocky's Harley Davidson, Fut-u.com, XXX race co, Dowler Karn, Knott Auto Body, Driver Websites, Outhouse Image and Design, and Engine Research for Supporting the team this year enroute to winning the 2009 Season Championship. Aswell Justin Martin is to appear on Race time radio Monday night tune in to hear the 2009 Season Champion.

Top 3 on first night helps points

Heading into the first night of the double header weekend at Brighton Speedway, Justin Martin in the Rocky's Harley Davidson, Engine Research powered 360 sprint was only 4 points back of the points leader Adam West. Justin would get a lucky draw for the start of the event and start on the inside pole in the second heat, where he would pull away in dominating fashion to win the heat race. As the 7m sprint would pull a 4th starting spot for the A main where he would battle throughout the whole feature. In the end Justin was able to go ahead and finish on the podium in the 3rd position. With this finish it would jump Justin back into the points lead to a commanding 41 point lead over the "Batman" heading into the final race of the year.
